Quincify video team earns international honor

Quincify’s video team is being noticed on a global scale.

Alex Berryman, video production specialist, and Caroline Campbell, video coordinator, won an Award of Distinction in the 2018 Videographer Awards for their Winters Insurance-Perspective video, which already won a Silver Telly Award.

The international awards competition is one of the most coveted in the video industry and recognizes outstanding achievement in video and digital production skills. It is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.

The Quincify team’s video was among more than 1,500 entries from throughout the U.S. and dozens of other countries. The Award of Distinction is awarded for projects that exceed industry standards – and just 16 percent of entries typically earn that distinction.

Quincify’s team was honored in the videography category, which falls under the awards for Creativity (Video Production).

The Winters Insurance-Perspective video used a tilt-shift technique and aerial videography to capture the busy lives of people within the community. The video team paired these techniques with copy that told the client’s story. The result was a captivating video that engaged viewers from start to finish – while successfully sharing the advertiser’s message.

“We had so much fun creating this spot for Winters Insurance using techniques that were new to us,” Alex said. “As a videographer, it’s incredibly refreshing to be able to create such ambitious videos like this one.”

The team enjoyed their quest to find the perfect locations for the video in a town with a rich history, beautiful architecture, and a vibrant community spirit.

“Quincy is such a fun little town with a big heart,” Caroline said. “Scouting locations for this video was purely inspirational.”
